Hang a plate..for free!

Materials: plates, hot glue gun, paper clip/safety pin.

Grab a plate.

Find the spot where you want the nail to go, and sand it up a little.

(sorry no pix of the bent paperclip) You need to bend your paper clip or safety pin a little so you can hang it on your nail. *Test it out, before you glue* It is best to stick it right under the rim ;)
this looks very messy, cause it was my first one.but I say load that puppy with glue!

let it cool, and you are set to hung em right up!
I am going to swap out a couple of these plates for new ones, cause these don't make so well.
but you get the idea.

they have been up over a week and still intact!

Pebble Glass Magnets

We whipped these up in a matter of 10 minutes. As Jack would say,"Easy Peasy!"
Materials:
~super glue
~Mod Podge
~pictures
~large clear pebbles
~big magnets
~sponge brush
~a cute kid to help you
Here is a little visual instruction...
Are you excited?? This kid sure is!!

Get some glass pebbles from your local craft store. These were from Michaels for $2.50.Make sure one side is flat.

Print photos of some adorable little ones that you know. Cut them to fit underneath the flat side of your pebble.
Small bottle of Mod Podge.I bought 'glossy' and I am thinking that 'matte' would have been better for this craft.
Get a sponge brush like so..I bought a huge bag of different sizes of these for $2 at Big Lots.
What.a.steal.

Rub it around your face for good measure.

A little more, just in case...

I used a paper plate to pour out some mod podge. Paint on a VERY lite layer of mod p. I used too much the first time, and it came out crappy.
You will need some super glue and some of your magnets.
* Use the bigger magnets, cause I had to use 2 little ones to hold these mac daddy pebbles up!
You don't need the clamps, but if you have them, then use them!
VOILA! Sorry they are hard to see... I took the pictures outside.

Oh crap!

Oh no! Gav tracked mud in the house! Oh wait! What the ??? Oh my, it's CRAP! Pure CRAP!! I left him for 1 minute to grab him some clothes.Things like this should not be happening before 7:30 AM!! I screamed bloody murder when I saw him trying to stand up in the midst of the crap and keep slipping all over it. You can imagine the smell. It took me a minute to figure out what my first step is. Throw that kid in the shower! I yelled for Tim to wake up and help.He stumbled in and held Gav back while I cleaned.v And of course Jack has a thousand questions about why G did this. After a big bucket of warm water n loads of soap, most of it came out. Minus the couppla stains. I am keeping those for the memories.

"Wasn't me!"

They'rrrrre Grrrrrrrreat!!!!!

Are these not the most stunning eyes you have ever seen. Good gracious I am lucky to have such beautiful babies. Jack's new fav thing is for me to paint his face like a Tiger. I painted this one very fast.It was 10 mins to nap time and he was DYING for a Tiger face.So it looks a little rushed. My favorite part of him wearing this face, is that it scares Gavin to death. And G runs into my arms and holds on tight. I miss that! Of course J takes advantage of this, and ROARS at G all around the house. I giggle in my head.It is so very funny to see. This is a perfect shot of J mid roar and G flippin out. I love the things that happen in this home! Wait until you see tomorrow's post.

Light of my life

Saw this shirt in Parents magazine for $30!! So I laughed and did one for Jack for $2. Another one off the list. It faded a bit after even applying 2 coats. I am going to look for an actual glow in the dark fabric marker, not glow in the dark fabric gel. I will try another one for Gavin!

Excuse the overgrown bedhead. He just woke up and I threw it on for a pic. Check out his modeling skills!
